The Sebel Kirkton Park wins industry award in 2007 |

 Two of Mirvac Hotels & Resorts properties has a been recognized as “Best Hotel Accommodation -4.5 Star” and “ Best Resorts Hotel – 4.5 star “ NSW at the 2007 Hotel Motel & Accommodation Association (HMAA) Tourism Accommodation Industry “Awards for Excellence” dinner recently and attended by over 250 industry people.
Managed by Mirvac Hotels & Resorts, each hotel was visited anonymously by an industry representative who judged a number of aspects including level of service, standard of accommodation, unique features of the hotel and efficiency of associates.
An industry panel then looked at the quality of the hotels, their business acumen, training and staff development as well as the marketing/promotional activity and their respective services and facilities. The Sebel Resort & Spa Haweskbury Valley were judged as being the best NSW Resorts 4.5 star hotels in their various categories as a result of their high standards, spectacular location, superior facilities and professional customer service.

The Sebel Kirkton Park is a favourite venue amongst meeting planners and also bridal parties, it’s less than 2 hours drive from Sydney CBD and less than an hours drive from Newcastle just recently completed the renovations of its main meeting rooms The Hunter Rothbury, James Busby and the four syndicate rooms.
Our meeting space is able to accommodate up to 320 persons and this went through a whole transformation by changing of carpets, lighting, chairs, paint, curtains and a new central air conditioning which is very quiet. The whole feel has been totally transformed not only from a conferencing perspective but also it has been a hit with bridal parties as the room becomes lighter in colour which makes it look larger. The hotel's meeting rooms have natural light and wireless Internet access through out making it a popular choice for conference groups in the Hunter Valley.
